selling lolita

I have a bunch of brand name and off brand dresses and skirts I don't wear anymore since I've moved on to the boy styles. I'm trying to figure out what to do with them. I let my gf pick out the ones she wanted, but I still have a lot left.

I'd love to have two of the skirts made into bloomer style shorts I could wear, but I'm not that talented with my hands, don't have a sewing machine and my only friend who sews with a machine doesn't feel confident enough to do that for me. I don't know anyone else who could do that. Fudge nuggets. I'd hate to leave them in my closet like I have been, not being used. So my other option left is to sell them.

So, I'm thinking of ways I can probably sell all those items now. I'm trying to avoid eBay if I can, but if nothing else, eBay it is. I asked a friend of mine who lives in the MidWest and attends a lot of conventions if she'd be willing to sell them for me and we split the profits. I wouldn't mind making less profit if she'd deal with all the customer service and website bs. She needs money too right now, so she may be willing to do it for the extra cash.

I don't really go on LJ that much.... Mostly just FB, and even then, maybe in the evenings. I'm not much of a social media person. Heck, I'm not much of a people person at that. I think people just judge me too much by what I look like and not who I am, because most people just give me weird glares when I just smile and say 'hi." I gave up with being the super customer service orientated person at work because of all the negative shit people gave me when I said 'hello.' Yes, I'm wearing a dress shirt, vest, cuffs, a tie, slacks and oxfords. I'm not dressed like a "hip hop dawg." I work in a crappy shoe store, but that doesn't mean I have to look like shit, I like dressing nice. If that's enough to get a sour look from you, go kindly fuck yourselves.
