It's interesting to think what one's preference in movies says about their personality. For instance what does it mean when you happen to be an avid fan of all slasher/horror and otherwise terrifying films? I mean when it gets to the point where you're watching gallons of fake blood splash across the screen in one of those low-budget hack-and-slash pieces... what are you really watching it for?

Personally I prefer happy movies - which I think makes sense considering I'm a generally happy person who's probably more sensitive than is really practical eg: feeling crappy after dealing with an angry (alas stupid as well) customer. I like fantasy and I like comedy. I like seeing the good guys win, particularly when its the peasants over-throwing the corrupt lord - or some such similar situation that involves mobs charging the castle. Sometimes when I don't feel up to dealing with that middle-end part of the movie where things go bad before they go good - I only watch half the film.. then finish it off some time later when I'm less absorbed in it's plot.

Tom gave Krystn and I flowers. I didn't have a vase so they're currently living in Tark's bong. They look very pretty - more so than I expected... I think I might have to keep flowers in that bong.

I sat on the balcony this evening and looked at the stars. They're so dim from here... I wish I'd stayed awake long enough last summer to see them while Bee and I were up at Bonaparte... they're simply amazing when the city isn't around to wash them out. There are too many ppl coming and going from my place...
