This last year has been a blur of survival, everything is just a little more tame than it used to be. It makes me rather sad to say I just don't seem to be able to get as excited about a special event. Things still feel very much up-in-the-air for me, I think all of 2006 was like that though. Well the big, money draining holidays are over now, time for that dull, depressing time between the dead of winter and spring. Oh but there shall be school! A terrifying but somewhat exciting new aspect of my life. I'm really not looking forward to driving out to Langley for 8am classes though...
I'm so very sick still with a nasty, ugly cold that's currently putting me through the "congested, I-can't-breathe" stage. It's a pain because
1. I couldn't drink that much last night
2. I couldn't party like crazy either
3. I keep losing my train of thought
4. I have work tomorrow and it's truck day
5. It's just in time for my vacation to Seattle
Soo... that being said, Thanks Kyle for the awesome party! If it wasn't for you I would've stayed home nursing the cold and then been very angry with myself for not going out at all. Plus, it was nice of you to let my brother come too - his friends are all lame and don't ever want to do anything.
I wasn't going to make any New Year's Resolutions (because come on, who actually keeps em?) but after reading a few I thought "why not?" besides, I like to blather uselessly about things I don't like in my life.
A. Pursue new and old friendships, because let's face it - I need to get out more.
B. Make an effort to enjoy school, I'm attending for me - not for anyone else, so screw grades I just want to feel creative again.
C. With a little luck and planning, move out again... I love my family but I love having my own place as well.
D. Make travel plans.
E. Pay off the damn Visa.
*coughhacksniff* Good night.
