I've been thinking about this for a while, and I'm going to try something different. While I really like the concrit community and having a weekly check on how things are going, I personally haven't handled getting critted publicly very well. The one time it happened, I got overly defensive.
I am much better at receiving crit that comes directly to me privately, and that I don't feel put on the spot by. So, what I'm asking is, if you have concerns about my playing, not just about Jack, but about any of my characters (Kon, Minagawa, Clark, Robin, Will), please consider dropping me an e-mail as your first option. My preferred e-mail is saaaaaaaveme@gmail.com (7 a's). I am reasonably friendly, and well-trained, and am not going to flame you or anything. Even better, this way, you don't have to wait for the concrit post. You can get in contact at any time.
This screened post is a last resort only, in case the idea of e-mailing me makes you really, really uncomfortable. However, I can't promise that your crit will be received as well as it would have had it come to me directly. I'm going to try and work out how you turn off IP logging and everything so that you can anon as comfortably as you like. If you do leave an anon comment, please indicate in your comment if you're okay with it being unscreened. Thanks!
