[It has been a difficult week, and Brook is finding it difficult to sleep. As he is wont to do when this happens, Brook is looking for distractions. [Sonny just so happens to be up early enough to hear that proverbial rooster crow. She was usually up by this time back in Wisconsin, anyway. Rubbing a little sleep out of her eyes, she flips through her journal, hearing a snippet of Brook's voice. It's too brief to decipher his message, but she could just barely tell it was him.]

I do enjoy catching the sunrise! Sunsets as well, but other than that I mostly catnap throughout the day.

That sounds like the way to live! Heheh! It's not every day I get to see the sunrise, but when I moved to L.A. from Wisconsin, I saw a lot more sunsets.

Are those the islands of your world? [He's not quite used to the idea of there being such large stretches of land. His world has one continent among several hundred islands.]

Actually, they're both part of one big continent. Wisconsin is inland, and L.A., Los Angeles, is on the west coast.

Yeah, it's been great! They flew me out on a jet to be on the cast of my favorite TV show, So Random! All the actors there are so great!

My mom even moved with me, so I didn't have to miss her so much!

Acting! So you are involved in theater then. It's good that you have your mother with you there - familiar company is such a relief when you travel. And you've made friends in the new place?

I love acting! Making people laugh is the reasn I d=ended up on a comedy show. I love it! My cast mates are my friends! We get along great, except Tawni can be a little uh... self absorbed sometimes. And mean.

Well that's no fun at all. There are times when you will encounter people like that. But you never know! Perhaps she just needs some time to warm up to you!

Well, you're right; it has gotten better! She's warmed up to me a little, but she still hates my guts. Heheh!
