[Voice/Action] Forward-dated to Tuesday afternoon

While this may not be the best time for it, for those of you who have agreed to piano lessons, I have one of my own now if you would rather practice on it instead of the one at the Seventh Heaven. [Some people aren't fond of practicing in such a public place, after all.] Thank you again, China-san, for crafting it. It plays beautifully!

Oh, and ( Read more... )

Ah, you got your piano already?

I'll take any song except Jolly Roger. They played that far too often in Loguetown.

I did! It's very well-tuned, even.

Are you in the mood for a particular genre of music? [He's already walking over to the piano before he realizes he didn't ask if it was the piano Smoker wanted to hear.] Yohohoho... or instrument, for that matter. I play many, after all!

Oh piano's fine. I guess a bit of smooth jazz wouldn't go amiss if you know any.

I think that I can manage that. [Sanji happens to be a jazz fan, so he has quite a few songs under that genre. He places the journal on top of the piano, and after a moment he begins to play this.]

Heh. That's really good. Whoever made the piano, China was it? They did a good job on it.

You know Stardust? [Not noticing the giant message in the stars, whut.]

I thought the same. [And he sounds damn happy about that too. He's spent quite a bit of time on this piano lately, and the sound has never failed to please him.]

Oh yes! I learned that recently - there's a variety of sheet music at the library here. [He'll start playing it now.] I suppose it's rather fitting, considering how the night sky has been looking as of late.

[Happily listening away.]

Rather ostentatious. But I assume someone was trying to prove a point. That's usually why anyone goes to extremes.

[Talking as he plays - it doesn't take him long to memorize a song.]

It is quite the feat, however. [No admiration, just honest admission.] One had to wonder what else they can accomplish. [And what makes it so difficult to do the things that they can't.]

No idea. Seems like next to anything.

When they're not making a mistake, that is. Which seems to happen often, from the sounds of things. [Ponder, ponder. But he thinks everyone's pretty uncomfortable with that idea.]

Which is strange in and of itself. With that much unlimited power you think they'd focus on fucking up less.

You would think that would be the case, wouldn't it? But then again, very little makes sense here. [It's sad when a One Piece character can say that.]

True enough. [God, really XD]

At least music stays good no matter where the location.

[Much more cheerful tone.] Yes, there is that, at least! And if Luceti has given me any opportunity, it has been to play to my heart's content.

Although being a skeleton, I have no heart. Yohohoho!

Heh. I guess that's one good thing to be said for being dead. All the time you could want.

[Somehow, Smoker has managed to touch upon an issue Brook has been trying to drive back lately. Laboooon. But his voice remains just as pleasant as before - it's remarkable what you can get away with when you have no facial expressions.]

Maah, and sometimes more time than you had ever hoped to spend. But it's very good for musical endeavors, I will give you that. Before I died, I had only known how to play the piano and the violin. I have since taught myself how to play just about any other instrument I have come across.
