(no subject)
Apparently when I tripped, I struck the mp3 player on the ground and borked it. It still plays, it still charges, but the computer won't recognize it and thus I cannot add music to it. And whenever I'm on the menu screen it scrolls out of control. Whee.
But, I think I've figured out how to get music onto the BackupPod without having to resort to iTunes. Right now we're attempting to download a podcast through MediaMonkey, since I am no longer able to download files of over a particular size. Somehow I think my DMCA-happy apartment internet is responsible. I'm really glad I went ahead and bought it. Yay $20 Craigslist specials.
And I'm pretty damn sure now I've been functionally fired from the burrito joint. They can't actually fire me, since they have no grounds to, but I have and get no hours. Just to piss them off, I'm not going to quit, and I want to see just how long I can stay on the schedule without hours. This is week two. I'm going on vacation next week, so it'll be week four before we know it.
Buuuuuuuuuuuuut...I got a nice raise at my main job, which actually makes up for most of the money lost through the functional firing. Not all of it, mind you, but most.
