You mean other than seeing off Adrian (Alex's old neighbor at the apartment) for his deployment, last night, and helping Luna and Mike pack up and get rid of almost everything they own tonight for their impending move to Singapore, and preparing to say goodbye to John (Jen's husband) who is deploying Wednesday, while dealing with a full summer course load, and re-arranging the entire kitchen so as to have places for the furniture I got from Mike and Luna last weekend, on top of really missing Alex?

Next thing I know, your new job is going to be someplace that makes it impossible for you to ever visit and Jen is going to get PCSed and Steve's going to hie off to a mountain and hide from the rest of 'humanity' (he says it won't happen soon, but one never knows - I never would have bet on Mike, Luna, Evan, and Kylie taking off for Singapore; their "going away forever" party was tonight); then I'll be pretty much totally alone except for people I have known a year or less and small fuzzy creatures...
Oh, and then Austin will approve a plan for Red River that will eminent domain Elysium...

Just pray I get this job I'm being interviewed for. I'll still be fucking broke...if my pay goes up at all, it'll only be enough to cover the gas for the commute...but I'll still be here, in this house, long enough for either the position to expire, or me to be hired on (there, or elsewhere in the state park system) full-time.
I intend on coming over there soon for a visit. It was sooner, but I need to straighten out the job crap that's going on. So in two weeks, we can celebrate my new job...be it the one I'm hoping for, or the Sonic.
