The Texas Cooperative Wildlife Collection is having a mammal and bird prep workshop Saturaday, Sept. 22nd, 10am-3pm, with lunch provided. Learn how to skin both mammals and birds! RSVP necessary. If you're interested, shoot me an email (zangetsu (at) inbox (dot) com) and I'll forward you the details, including a map to the TCWC.
The TCWC is also looking for people to help prepare some of the many specimens they have backlogged. They'll probably be happy to give you the details at the workshop.
I wonder if they'll let me keep the skin... e_e
