Because Naoto can't ignore Chie's strange behavior. She tried to tell herself it was just her being tired but with everything that's happening she can't rule out that it's something else.

So off she does to the Northern Lights, keeping her eyes peeled until she spots Chie's familiar form. She approaches quietly but also tries not to startle her.]
