Happy new year, everyone! Did anyone else catch the first sunrise?
Oh! Um ...
[She trails off, then switches over to video instead - an odd closeup of her face, squinting at the screen as she fiddles with the buttons, adjusting the feed to (what she hopes is) perfection.]
Ah! There we are. [She pulls the device back about arm's length and waves, smiling broadly.] Hello! I was wondering about something ...
[The feed lurches and shakes as she turns the camera around to point at her potted seedling. It looks surprisingly healthy, considering it's - well, it's Chie. One would most likely expect her gardening abilities to rank just about as fail as her cooking skills. Not so! Her plant is dotted with small, round, orange fruits.]
Is anyone else growing any of these? They look edible, but I wasn't sure.
[[ooc - chie's plant is growing satsumas! among other things, the reasons for this include a) satsumas are apparently quite delicious, 2) and tiny, and native to japan, just like chie, and d) apparently were first introduced to japan by a buddhist monk whose name was also chie, believe it or not. also I AM PASSING OUT NOW GOOD NIGHT ._.]]
