In case you were wondering where "squirrel" came from...

Phoenix PPD... First off Thumbs up to having it the 1st weekend in NOVEMBER, so much nicer and it wasn't 105 likr last year!

The day started out so carefuly planned... I was going to get up extra early to ensure that I got there on time to help set up. While I did get up extra early somewhere along the way the wheels fell off and I left the house 30 later than I intended, but I had planned to leave 15 minues before I had to. Don't blame the hair, it actually took me less time than normal to put it up etc.

So then my brain switched to auto pilot and I was driving to the ICC *sigh* I missed my exit so that added more time to my lateness. I finally get to my grovies place and pick him up then it's on to Glendale Community College for set up.

We got there just short of 30 minutes late and once we arrived we jumped in attempting to set up canopies... but the first one, though it fit nicely into a little back pack did have one of the holes punched out for the little bolt to fit thought to keep the leg standing and bearing weight. On to the next one, and then it was on to chairs and then helping Michelle with a couple signs.

Later in the day I heard that the security personnale didn't let anyone on until 7:30am anyway so I wouldn't have been doing anything but standing around. anyway

Then my shift was up and I went into the student union to java up some more. I hung out at the booth and chatted with folks and grovies. I purchased a chain maile tie and a little creepy but cute critter to hang on my wall.

We had worked out that we would do reading scheduels so it wouldn't just be Don reading Tarot all day. So I got the middle shift, it was neve wracking because I don't usually do readings for other people. Though the three readings I did get seemed to be happy with the statements and assumptions made.

I was happy tha they all chose the Ogham, because I had sun screen running into my eyes and I don't think I could have looked through the mirror that well!

Finally, I put the word "SQUIRREL" across the back of a t-shirt and burrowed one of my friend Lisa's tails. Thus the reason there are pictues of Mr. Shinney and moi with "SQUIRREL" written across my back.

ogham, pagan, druid stuff, ppd, druid, squirrel, pagan pride
