"positive touches"

My loves...I am going to introduce you all to a concept that Ernie shared with me last summer. It's great fun.
Basically, Ernie told me that to be happy at the end of the day, all you need is to have given/recieved twelve positive touches over the course of the day...a hug, a kiss, a high-five, a pat on the back, stuff like that.
I think I only got about 2 today, but I'm still happy, because telling you about this reminds me of camp, and camp was fun. And I'll be at camp again in three months (holy shit only three months left of school).

Also, I'm thinking about tomorrow, and I'm pretty sure I can get more than twelve tomorrow just hanging out at rehearsal with Sarah.

And then Tuesday is the Fish n Chips concert.

And then Wednesday I'm going to Gideon Welles with Jake and John and Mrs Copley to talk to 6th graders about the video program, and that should be fun.

So if you are in a crappy mood, just think back on the day, and if you were around people at all you probably got your 12 postive touches. And if you did not, just remember that you can do it tomorrow. Be happy.

Wow I just reread this, and oh goodness this is one damn weird post. Don't take any of it TOO literally.
