(no subject)
So I've been trying to do a second playthrough of Trusty Bell to do all the special bonus quests, but...
...holy CRAP the game is hard now. So one of the things that happens on a second playthrough is the enemies all get harder. But it's not like Tales or SO3 where you get to choose difficulty levels or anything. It just plain happens. Enemies have way too much HP now and do way too much damage. If you mess up a just frame defend, you pretty much lose almost all of your life.
One thing I didn't mention in my review of the game is I thought it was too easy. With numerous people with good healing skills, in the first playthrough except for one or two boss fights I literally never used any healing items. Now at the beginning of Chapter 2, I keep running out of them. And I keep dying in regular battles, not even boss battles. I guess if the first playthrough is too easy, the second playthrough is really damn hard. I wish they had evened it out more but I guess that's what happens... I am NOT looking forward to fighting Dolce or Fugue or Rondo if they get buffs like this.
