I had the day off today. So what did I do? Why, nothing constructive, of course!
Psst Maiki, I made Veigue again harhar.

Tales of character battle! Featuring Milla Maxwell from Xillia versus Presea Combatir from Symphonia. I am really sad that the Piyo Hammer joke weapon for Astaroth is gone... that worked perfectly with Presea. So instead she gets an axe. Also, even though I picked the smallest possible body size for Presea, Astaroth is so big to begin with that she doesn't look much different from Milla. I'm pretty happy with my Presea recreation this time around, especially since one of the necklaces looks just like her Exsphere pendant. Milla I'm not as happy with. The hair is a big problem of course; I hacked her ahoge with one of the attachments but you can't put it off center properly. Her outfit is also a lot harder to make with the parts you get, though I think I did an ok job. I guess the cool part is that ZWEI's moveset has him summoning a wolf spirit, so I just made the wolf spirit red and it does kind of look like Milla and Ifrit from the original game.
Tri-Ace RPG character battle! Featuring Lenneth from Valkyrie Profile and Nel from Star Ocean 3. I made both of these characters in previous SCs, of course. I think my Nel is pretty good this time. I like that I was even able to do the goggles that she has on her chest with one of the attachments, plus the new pattern feature means I can replicate her scarf pretty closely instead of it being just solid blue like in previous SCs. As for Lenneth, I'm sad that Hilde's new Critical Edge doesn't look nearly as much like Nibelung Valesti as her super from SC4 did, but oh well. I think both of them still turned out quite well. Oh, I really like that for Lenneth's portrait pose, I got it looking very much like her official art.
Chou Un Shiryuu from Ikkitousen versus... Chou Un Shiryuu from Ikkitousen, lol. She has a lot of outfits, so I thought, why not do a 1P and 2P version of her? Unfortunately, they got rid of the school uniforms that were DLC for SC4, so I had to make do with one of the blouses that doesn't quite look right. As for China Dress Chou Un, that's not based off any particular official art, I was more playing around with the patterns and the stickers, so I was able to put a big dragon on the back of her dress. Patsuka's super is very fitting for Chou Un, though.
And finally:
My seiyuu joke characters. Siegfried is Hiyama, and he carries a big sword, so I've dressed him up as Veigue from Rebirth before. Now in SC5, his Critical Edge is a big wave of ice spikes... even MORE Veigue-like. How appropriate. As for Ivy, she's now Sawashiro Miyuki, so I thought why not dress her up as Sice from Type-Zero? There's no scythe moveset anymore, shame, but if I use Ivy it's like Sice stole Seven's weapon or they had a lovechild. I guess the downside to dressing up the included characters is that you can't change any of their body features except for hairstyle, so this Veigue is pretty brawny and Sice is pretty busty, lol.
