Poor AIM

I've spent the day in communication withdrawal. Instant Messenger won't load my buddy list, which makes it believe I've blocked everyone in the universe, so I can't even communicate by manually typing in screen names. I'm used to seeing who's around, putting up an away message, and generally being available. I've resorted to using a backup screen name, one that I retired years ago to try to keep a lower profile. I guess a nigh-decade of inactivity is pretty low.

I don't feel like posting my backup name on here, to cut down on strangers IMing me randomly. People familiar with battle cries should be able to find me, as should anyone who really makes an honest endeavor. Best place to hide a letter is on the mantelpiece, after all.

UPDATE: Aaand it's working properly again. Pretty anti-climactic. It's as if technology is governed by the phases of the Moon, or something. I also managed to get my parents' anti-virus software to update itself yesterday, so apparently I'm on a roll. Better start building a time machine or something.
