I just got word that the Rec. Dept isn't allowing Punk in the Park this year. Fuck them and fuck this city. Over the past ten or eleven years, I have watched this city take apart everything it possibly could, piece by piece, that would keep younger folk from leaving. When I was younger, people would play music in Center St. Alley and Depot Park on the weekends. No more. This city has shifted its focus from supporting yonger generations to taking away to the benefit of the narrow-minded, older generations. This city is on the verge of bankruptcy. Congratulations, Rutland. You're going to financially implode and become another worthless, dead town.
