Driving to the gym yesterday evening, I happened to switch on the radio. Radio city 91.1. A song had just ended and I was cursing myself that I'd have to listen to their woresht ads. And then

Lingo Leela rocks! Best part is their English translation of the example sentence. They deliberately use very formal, high-sounding words in English which coming immediately after the slang in kannada has a killer effect.

I wonder if there is a standard time at which they air it, like Babbar Sher at 9:05am or so everyday. So that I can tune into Radio City just for Lingo Leela and switch back to Gnanavani or AIR.

it's one of the best things about radio city

unfortunately haven't noticed any fixed time when they put it. you could try 8am though...

wow! its back .... when radio city just started out, it was too good ... retro show on sundays etc ... that was just when i had come to bangalore .... loved it ...as i left bangalore for chennai ....all the rjs disappeared .. good to know things are almost back to the way they were.

btw, congratz on your 15 seconds of fame :)
