It's midnight. I just watched the ball drop, and all I can think is, "I should get to bed before work tomorrow."
I think it's strange that our society puts so much emphasis on the new year. It's as if what I do tonight should set the mood and tone for the rest of my year. Well, let's analyze this, shall we?
I worked until seven. I went out with Raven to get sushi. I ate while watching a rerun of CSI. I chatted with Scribe online. Then I watched a documentary entitled "The History of Sex" until I fell asleep.
I think 2008 will be just fine.
