My wrist is so much better today!
Last night I went to take Finn out of the carseat and realized I could not take any stress on my right arm at all. The pain I felt was very similar to a broken bone; I've had three of those in my life. In my experience a broken bone feels like the pain of being very cold, which is tolerable. That is, until there is contact with the area, then it is a deeper more intense pain.
Finn was really cranky, which means a lot of body movement, and I realized I was in trouble. I could not care for cranky, wiggly Finn with only one arm. I called my Dad and luckily he was available and came right over.
With his help I made it through the evening feeding Finn, entertaining him, getting him to sleep, and getting everything ready for the next day. I got to sleep by 10:30. AMAZING!
I took a high dose of Ibuprofen before bed to help with the wrist. I also tried to keep it on a pillow and straightened.
I'm fairly tired again today. I think I'm fighting a cold or something. I don't feel sniffly or any head things. Just fatigued all over. Thank goodness it's a weekend!
