club volleyball comes to an end...
Hey! this is gonna be a really short post. nothing interesting has really happened, other than my birthday party i had on saturday.
My club for volleyball had their last day today, as a beach tournament between the Seal Beach teams. (im not going to explain how bad me and my partner did) and at the end we all got awards! im sooo happy! i got chosen as the "best all around player" by my coach. my mother says that's basically MVP in different words so that the other team mates don't feel so bad.
but there's more...all the coaches get together at the end and nominate different players from the whole club to be chosen for what is call "The overachievment award". out of about 60 nominations the coaches decided on 15 girls/boys (total) to be chosen for this award. and i was one of those 15!!!! it is a highly coveted award, too, and will go really good on my record when choosing a college! i can only be chosen for it once and i got it my first year! cool, huh?
and on another note, Urdahl's sister Kelsey was also chosen for this award, along with Janice DeBie from school and another girl, Christine Maramba, from my old volleyball team.
