I've been Naughty this year (...and not posted frequently)
Well, I'm home for the holidays, and the term has been officially over for a few days now. I can no longer say to myself that I have no time or energy to post so here is the first post in quite a long time. (I bet that if I could search back through my journal to see how often I've said similar things to that in posts, I'd be a millionaire. I think I'm mixing metaphores again)
This last term was NUTS. I was never on aim, or at least, it became a bare nessesity. LJ never even got touched. I was spending 15 hour days on campus, sometimes 6 days (or 7) a week, just trying to keep up. Oh, and that doesn't quite account for everything, cause I should have been doing equally rediculus amounts of work for my MQP and wasn't, cause my groupmates suck. At least we got something done with that this term. I just hope we get done by the end of this term, cause we won't have any time after that to do much but write up the report.
Enought of the school chatter, how are all of you? I never hear from anyone and I see even fewer posts. (I really hadn't been checking posts either this term though) I hope everybody is getting what they want for the holidays (look! I'm being PC, blah!). Is it me or does it suck massivly to asked by your parents what you want for christmas and then being told to go buy it for yourself, put it on a credit card or something, and that they will pay you back after?
My mom made cookies like crazy this year, which reminds me that I have to bake a bunch of stuff before I return to Worcester for the start of the term. Number one on the list are a big favorite of mine that seems to confuse many people. They say, but Mark, you HATE vegetables, and won't touch them with a 10 foot pole. I say carrot-zucchini muffins are the best things ever. Hot with butter their awesome! Seriously, try them some time.
I found 'new' futurama episodes squirreled away on my external harddrive while I was 'spring cleaning (in the winter)' it. I don't think the romyommates have seen them yet. It should buy me some time to start downloading some new episodes of something. Any suggestions for fun lunch time (and often dinnertime/evening) entertainment? Must have multiple seasons of excellent comedy content. West wing doesn't count (we're already on season two of that anyway).
I'm going to have little to do for the next few weeks, so I dare say expect more, funner (I know thats not english, shut up) updates soon. But then, look what I promised last time. I'll gauge the need for further updates based on responses. You know you were going to comment anyway, this will make sure you don't change your mind. Or make sure that you do. Depending.
I might add this. There are some leaches on this account apparently. They have been around for a while. I don't know why you like being friends with me. You have never commented meaningfully on any of my posts. I would appreciate it if you didn't keep me there just to add to the number of 'friends' you have. Namely dyingtobeseen, magicanbemurder, and punk_rawkgal007. Either comment, delete me, or be ready for some flames on your next (or last) few posts asking for just this.
