A kookaburra is a bird that makes a laughing type of call "kookaburra sits in the old gum tree, merry little king of the bush is he, laugh kookaburra laugh kookaburra, how gay your life must be" hehe, an old school song. A quokka is like a very small wallaby (which is like a very small kangaroo). Roo meat tastes quite "gamey", it's very lean and dark, somewhat like venison. I haven't eaten Emu because I haven't had the chance but I would like to try crocodile. The one thing I have never tried but have a sick facination with is witchetty grubs- they're supposed to be good eating but gah :( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJlO0aifJxA
haha, I know. It's like, dude, does it have to be moving? blergh I've heard they're quite nice roasted, apparently they taste nutty or some such. Still, I just have an issue about eating something that has a hard coating and soft centre unless it's chocolate. Of course, if it was a choice between dying and eating a witchetty grub then give me a dozen. Funny though, I'd have no issue eating honey ants- I think it's the size of grubs and that they look somewhat like maggots that does my head in :(
It's Blue Poles, a Jackson Pollock painting (think: someone drank paint and then spewed on a canvas) in the National Gallery in Canberra. The Government paid a million bucks for it back when we were real little and a million bucks was still a shitload of money.
I saw it in 1984 on a school trip... me and my fellow bunch of eleven-year-olds were thoroughly unimpressed (although I have seen even worse, hanging in the same gallery, oddly.)

What does kangaroo taste like?
Why have you eaten kangaroo but not emu?
I must be part Australian since I've been to Outback Steakhouse and I've seen Crocodile Dundee.
