The difference between a tacky online shop, and a good one

This is what i call good customer service:

You are perfectly correct in what you state - so we have refunded you the $13 that was wrongfully charged, and would like to offer you, should you choose to order with us again, a further 15% discount on your next order.

We are very sorry for causing your first experience with us to be disappointing like this.

Now then, all other ecommerce retailers take notes ... while it would be better not for the thing to happen in the first place, refunding the money straight away, and then doing a gesture of kindness (the discount) to convert the bitter taste to a sweet one.

While i might have had hesitations regarding these guys an hour ago ... i'd sure as hell recommend them now! Go www.gpstore.co.nz! Good to see some people who understand the net, ecommerce and the value of trust!
