I'm now seriously looking into moving into that first floor apartment in the front. I'll have more room, high ceilings, bigger kitchen, newer carpet and paint, a cool huge bedroom window, bigger closets, a bigger better microwave, no upstairs OR downstairs neighbors, and my own washer and dryer. I'll only be paying $725/mo which is less than what I pay now for a less nice apartment!
The ONLY drawbacks are that it's not a two bedroom, i'll be locked into a 6 or 12 month lease, and I'll be paying someone to move my big furniture.
Hell, I'll probably make most of the moving expenses back in savings, though. I'm excited.
