I promised myself I wouldn't play Lego Indiana Jones, and promised myself I wouldn't even TOUCH Kung Fu Panda. I played both. I liked both. I liked Lego Indiana Jones so much that I decided to find and buy a copy of Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, which is also an excellent game. I agree with you about how sad it is that all the good PC games these days require a monthly subscription. I played EverQuest for about 6 months and then couldn't afford it anymore (this was way back when I was in college) and haven't played another MMORPG since then... I am semi-excited about the new Stargate game that is in the works but not overly so since it is a MMORPG and I probably won't participate (not to mention that at the moment I can't afford to upgrade my computer and it is woefully underpowered since I haven't upgraded in quite some time now...).

Also, I have no console aside from my NES and the Sega Genesis at my parents place.

These days my gaming consists of pulling out some old PC game I haven't played in ages and playing it for a few weeks and then putting it back on the shelf for ages to come. The Descent series, Quake, and the C&C series get this treatment from me from time to time. Also I play said NES. And stupid flash games like Pillage the Village, because it is fun, for a while, to toss helpless people around and kill them with your omnipotent hand.
