R.I.P Chee Chee

Jul 14, 2007 02:28

I came home tonight around 12:45 at night and took the dog for a quick walk.
When I got back I started preparing her food and some of her medicine which I have been giving her the past few days. When I reached in the cage and felt for her body something was not right. There wasn't even a response. When I pulled her out from her sleeping bag which she likes to sleep in her body was limp and lifeless.

She showed no sense of awareness what so ever and her body was still breathing slightly very very slightly almost not even notice able. I attempted to feed her her medicine and food out of desperation but it was useless it all just drained out of her mouth and onto the floor. I held her there watching her. around 1:20 she took her last breath and I said goodbye.

I took her to the back of seaboard in a paper bag. Since I don't own a shovel or any kind of device to dig with I dug her grave with my own bare hands.
