This morning I got an email from our IT security guy here at good ol' PFC.
For those of you that use instant messaging to communicate with your fellow employees, we have recently upgraded our central gateway to the latest version. You may have noticed that a new contact has popped up and requested to be added to your list. It goes by the name IMSentry or l7imsentry depending on the chat service you connect to. Please go ahead and add this user to your contact list and allow them to see you online. This is an automated "virtual buddy" on our gateway that helps protect us against unsolicited message attacks driven via instant messaging such as the SPAM sent to us in instant messages or denial of service attacks. This is a feature of our central gateway. Also please remember that your use of instant messaging should only be for communication with fellow Payformance employees and that you are expected to abide by Payformance Acceptable Use Policy when using instant messaging services on the Payformance network.

So I took it upon myself to register the name LMSentry, but with the "L" in lowercase so the font looks like a capital i in the name. I started spamming people at work. Here are some of the conversations. Enjoy...
