Podcasts in iTunes
I've a technical query: for some reason, my Re:Automation podcasts have become sorted by release date. Which would be a fine thing, except a bunch of the recent ones don't have one, nor do one or two older ones, and they're all muddled at the bottom (or top) of the list. I can't sort by any other field, however. And I can't edit the release date field, as far as I can see. Is there anything at all I can do about this?
ION: not having the most productive time of things atm. The sorting-out process has ground to a halt, and since everything else is queued up behind it, I need to get it re-started (or re-queue other things, which I'm a bit reluctant to do). Anyway, yesterday I discovered that the little bit of tube that connects my bicycle pump to the tyre valve is missing. This is unfortunate, because my rear tyre could do with some air. I will either have to find another way of pumping it up (involving a loan or a bike shop), or I will have to figure out where the box went that I boldly swept lots of stuff into, because that's the last place the tube can be. I'm trying to take this as encouragement to continue tidying up.
Meanwhile, I've finished most of the body of my latest knitting project. It's a wrap-around vest (if that conjures up the right image at all, I'll be impressed!) in a lace pattern, which I think is the main reason I've tackled it. I also happened to have some unused yarn around; it's synthetic rather than the specified cotton, and was originally meant for another cotton-yarn pattern. Ho hum. I'm not at all sure this project is going to wind up being wearable, but it's been keeping me occupied while I fret over some of my vintage patterns not really working out.
So, naturally, since I don't have a bazillion other projects lined up, and I'm not even vaguely lusting after some patterns in a knitting mag I picked up yesterday, I seem to have agreed to work on some cross-stitch designed by a friend of mine. She says it's going to be quick though, so all will be fine :-)
