Just as an update to earlier posts, and because I can tell you're all dying to know, I translated 19 of the 24 pages that are due tomorrow afternoon. This is well above what I'd hoped to get done; I'd estimated a 50/50 split over the two days, a ratio I saw dwindling over the course of today. Now all that's left for tomorrow is to mop up the final five pages, which I don't think will hold very many surprises, polish everything, and send it off. Then I can a) catch up on the rest of my life, and b) start work on the next batch, which is four times as long, and due either Wednesday or Thursday, depending on which of my estimates the agency went with.
I downed tools when the CD stopped and I ran out of booze, maybe about an hour ago, and have been amusing myself since by reading more Quicksilver. Now I have a nice mug of hot chocolate, as I'm vaguely hungry but without the gumption to construct complicated foods, and this'll see me through to the morning at least.
I think that was quite enough minutiae for one evening, don't you? I make no promises what tomorrow's blatherings will contain, of course.
Night!
