oh how quickly things can change.
I had a wonderful weekend back at home photographing. In fact I even went as far as to claim it to be "the greatest photographic weekend of my life." I got what I felt was going to be some really strong stuff for "What I Saw" and got for what felt like the first time in a few months some good new stuff in Cherry including some portraits and a dead snake I found in the road. In fact i shot 10 rolls of film which costs around 50 bucks and then all the processing costs another 50 so we are talking 100 bucks for 10 rolls of film but i didnt care this was going to be amazing I was pushing things in all the right directions i felt like. It was like with the click of the shutter I can do no wrong. I was really excited to get my film back this morning. I woke up extra early to get all my negatives into negative sleeves and start making contact sheets before class. Well when I got all my film back other than the first 4 exposures of the first roll the other 9 were totally blank. no idea what happened. I shot stuff on monday during a class that i got back and that all came out.
fucking buzzkill.
my mom had me on suicide watch. she kept calling to make sure i didnt jump in front of a bus.
so now i have to spend money yet again to come home.
