Man I've been busy lately, and really only with reading assignments. Tuesday I spent most of the day reading everything I needed to for class, and last night and tonight too, so I'm definitely ready for this weekend.
One bit of exciting news that I got today is that I've been asked to have an interview with BookPros/Phenix & Phenix publishing company for an internship position in the publishing department. I'm incredibly excited about it. I'm also a little anxious, actually, but just at the thought of interviewing. I really want one of the internships I applied for to work out, so hopefully this one will!
Next week I'm flying up to Colorado Springs to see my parents. As much as I'm happy to be able to see them, I'm also a little worried about the discussions about my summer arrangements and study abroad arrangements will go. I need to know, and I have to tell them that, but I just hate putting a damper on the trip. As much as I'd like it to be a mini vacation, I just have to work all of this out, even if it is a little unpleasant. It's weird, I feel like I'm rebelling when all I'm really doing is just growing up.
Tomorrow I have to get up early to register for classes at 8:00AM and I am not amused. As advantageous as it is to be registering that early, it does not make me an entirely happy camper. Speaking of which, I think I'm going to check my classes one more time to make sure I can still get into them.
