I'm finally back online. My parents bought me a computer last Friday and it got here through the mail today. It's a Macbook, and I'm pretty much in love with it. I'm indebted to my parents, that's for sure. It's a beautiful piece of machinery and I couldn't be happier. Receiving it in the mail pretty much made my day.
Lately there's not been a lot to talk about, or that I don't really feel a need to talk about. Tomorrow I'm going to the internship fair at school. I'm pretty excited. I'm going to try to apply for an internship with the Austin Film Festival, which would be pretty amazing if I got it. Right now I'm just really trying something to keep me here in Austin, and if an internship is the way to go, well then I'm okay with that. I also have an interview with the Admissions Office on Wednesday for a job next year. I really hope I can get the job as it is something that I really think I'll enjoy doing. For both of these events I had to go to Kohl's to buy dress clothes since all of the nice clothes I had are now in Colorado. A nice pair of slacks, dress shirt, tie, shoes, and belt later, and I'm ready to go.
I saw the musical Company last friday that the theater department produced, and it was pretty fantastic. The cast was outstanding, and I really liked the score. I'm thinking of trying to find a soundtrack online.
In two weeks I get to see Nalleli in New York, three weeks after that I go see my parents in Colorado, and two weeks from then I'm going with Melanie to see Ashley in Alpine. I am so excited about all three that I may burst! Good times are ahead, I am sure.
I suppose that's it for now, I don't really have much else to say. Perhaps I will find some inspiration later. Most likely not, though.
