Yesterday Nalleli, Kat, Blane and I journeyed to the Great Outlet Malls of San Marcos. We walked around both complexes and had a good time doing it. Stopping in random clothing and furniture stores to look at things that we couldn't possibly afford is half the fun of those places, I think. (Despite being "outlet" stores, some of the prices are still astronomically high.) I think my favorite store was the Borders Outlet. It's like Half Price but for new books! I bought an Ursula K. LeGuin book that I'm really excited to read. I also bought shoes and a spinning ring (a new way to fidget!). We ate at Chili's, I got caught checking out the waiter, and we all had a good laugh. Those are the days that remind me why I'm friends with these crazy people.

Tomorrow my parents and I fly out to Colorado, but right now they're a little concerned that we're going to get stuck somewhere because of the snowstorms. I really hope that's not the case, but if we do get delayed, I hope it's while we're still in San Antonio and not while we're in Salt Lake City. I'm sure it's a very nice place, but being held up in a familiar place is more comforting (insert flashbacks to Newark here).

I am currently faced with the dilemma of whether I should stay in Georgetown over the summer or if I should go to Colorado Springs. Each situation has its pros and cons, and while my mom says not to worry too much about it now, I will of course. We'll see.

Also, I really, really want the new Jonathan Safran Foer book Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. Just so you (yes, you) know.
