It's the holidays, a time for cheer and love and spiced rum and snow and Jon Walker! I think we need to highlight the importance of Jon Walker as we gather 'round the fireplace and sip hot cocoa and munch on candy canes and sing about jolly old Saint Nick.

I keep wanting to write Jon/Brendon Christmas fic, but, you know, time. So I will probably just ramble it out in this here comment. Like, I really want a ficlet-ty thing where Jon and Brendon have people coming for Christmas dinner? And I can't decide if it would be Brendon's family or just like Ryan and Spencer. I like the idea of just Ryan and Spencer. And Brendon is freaking out, right, because everything has to be perfect, Jon Walker, because it's Christmas! And Brendon's just got way too much energy and is zipping around and cleaning and watching Jon decorate and dangle tinsel in front of Clover and Dylan, and then he sort of gets mesmerized for a second watching Jon, because, um, it's Jon, but then there's a turkey! In the oven! And pies! And he has to go check them, and thank God they didn't burn, but it was a close thing

YES! AND I PICTURE THERE BEING TONS OF FOOD THAT NOT EVEN JON WALKER CAN FINISH!!!

Yes! Like, they even smoke up a whole bunch before to pack it away, but Brendon still made way too much. And then they have a Christmas movie marathon and Jon and Brendon are all snuggly on the couch, and...is that Ryan's head on Spencer's shoulder?

and Jon pokes Brendon in the stomach to make him look and giggles a little, and then Brendon covers his mouth with his hand to stifle his OWN giggles, and Ryan gives them sleepy smiles and Spencer has no idea what's going on! AND Jon whispers in Brendon's ear that it was totally the pie he made, because Jon Walker's pies are always MAGIC and from then on he calls it LOVE PIE

And then Brendon makes a comment about wanting to eat Jon's love pie, and they have to excuse themselves the bedroom for a bit, but they are totally back for the end of White Christmas. By that time, it's pretty late, and Ryan and Spencer have fallen asleep all cuddled up in a tangle of limbs on the couch. Jon can't help but take a picture, and Brendon can't resist photoshopping Santa hats onto their heads later.

and then days after that, KITTENS IN RIBBONS, and Jon sends it to Pete and Pete adds himself and it gets passed around and added to until it's a ridiculous mess of Christmas FBR cheer with Spencer and Ryan in the middle

Then it gets passed back to Spencer, who has to admit that it's pretty cute, and then to Ryan, who remarks sarcastically on its composition but secretly prints it out and keeps it tucked away in one of his notebooks.

AND BRENDON FINDS IT AND NEXT YEAR HE USES IT AS THEIR CHRISTMAS CARDS. Jon Walker approves.

This is after their wedding, of course, because clearly Jon decided that, with all the love in the air at Christmas, New Year's Eve would be a perfect time to formally propose.

omg, it would be the most amazing and romantic proposal of all time, Jon doesn't do things half-assed

And Brendon tells the story ad infinitum/ad nauseum. Aww, and then everyone makes lovely/hilarious toasts at the wedding!

and it'll be a christmas wedding with karaoke.

Awww, yes, but it will obviously be the best karaoke ever and not (all) drunken relative karaoke. I mean, obv there will still be some drunken relative shenanigans, but only in the best possible sense.
