nothing to see here
okay, so, um, was just in a major vehicular accident this afternoon. Hubby drove me to the hospital afterwards just to get checked out - sore back and kind of majorly shook up, but other than that I'm okay. I can't even believe it happened. If anyone's familiar with Broomall and Cardinal O'Hara highschool? It happened right there, on this perpetual green light. It's a right-lane keep moving light that NEVER changes, and the kid in front of me slammed on his break because the light for the OTHER lane turned red. So I slammed into him, and the woman behind me slammed into me, and my tiny little protege got CRUMPLED. I'm so pissed off because the car is totally paid off and now I'm pretty sure the insurance co is going to total it, but that'll give me next to nothing in return, so I'm going to have another car payment again and it SUCKS. I'm so shook up, though. The kid even had the balls to be upset with ME, like when I asked why he stopped he got all defensive and was like It was a red light! And I pointed to the two fucking signs that say RIGHT LANE KEEP MOVING and ALSO the blatant green arrow that NEVER changes. You don't even anticipate a stop for a turn there, because there's no where to turn into on either side. Okay, now I'm just ranting, but it ruined my entire day and my back hurts and my stupid airbags didn't even go off even though my hood is up around my windshield and we can't afford a new car and I don't want to get a crummy used car and I'm going to miss my zippy little Sir Percival!
