I love Amaretto's stories! I think my favorite character in Prisoner is Dieter, cause badasses are kinda awesome.

Dieter! yes! I am now in the middle of Sandstorm. I didn't think I'd like it, but I got totally sucked in :)

I felt the same way about Sandstorm. I heard her talking about it way before I gave in and tried it, because I was always certain it wouldn't be my speed. Then I loved it, of course.

I finished Sandstorm! And I started Kidnapped, but... I actually did not get sucked in and my interest is waning. I think I'll try one of her others instead.

I've never been able to enjoy kidnapped. I can sort of follow in the beinning, but as it gets more and more complicated I always loose track of all the different things happening and have to stop reading. Definitely not one I personally enjoy.
Have you tried the Black Magic stories? It's not finished yet, the last set is pending, but I think I remember liking the ones that are out.

Yeah, I gave up on kidnapped - something about the interspecies stuff pinged my squick, and then it started to get all techincal and I left!

I haven't tried Black Magic yet, but I will. I'm on the Lost Gods - I loved book one, and now I'm reading book two.
