Great Minds...

On my way back from Chicago last month I stopped in at one of the Nike Outlet stores. They had kinda cool football themed Ts cheap ($7) that were in my football team's colors. I was feeling generous, so I called and asked C if she wanted me to pick them up for her since we had just had a conversation about this very topic. Today was the first day I wore one. When she walked in, she looked over the wall and froze. I looked at her and knew that she wore the same one I did. Funny thing is that we both said we held off wearing them because we knew the other would start wearing them. At least she has a sweatshirt on too :)

Even though I watch alot of TV there aren't many shows I watch religously. And I don't get all "fandom freak" about them. But last night watchning CSI, I was so happy they *finally* got Grissom and Sara together. I love the show, probably because I'm a science geek (I swear I've seen every ep of Mythbusters at least 5 times) and because I applied to work for the BCA (essentially MN's crimelab) when I got my B.S. in '97 but was underqualified. Would I stop if they paired Grissom or Sara up with someone else? No (well, maybe if they paired him up with the females- Sophia or Catherine. Or that leather chick- Heather). Where am I going with this, you ask? I found out just how much the guys in this office are like women. I walk in, and they were totally going on about how they are so glad they're together because there was so much tension and Grissom needs to be loved and needs to come out of his shell for her since it's obvious he loves her and he's such a closet romantic which she needs and it's so beautiful and yadda yadda. Yes, one of my co-workers said it was beautiful. And I had to laugh because the 2 women in the office happened to wear the same shirt to work which pretty much talks about kicking your ass in football.

I do have one wuestion though. They said something about a cliffhanger in ads for the early show after the ep. There was no cliffhanger. How the hell could they get one from that?

I am so looking forward to this weekend. Sue comes home today and we're going out and I get to go to Trader Joe's for the first time. Yes, my life is just that exciting that I'm excited to go the grocery store. What's ironic is that I don't need to since I have no time to cook. I just want to go and see what it looks like. Go me.
