I knew you could...

We got a couple new people to help correct tests last night. Usually I sit in the very last row in the corner. It's nice and peaceful. No one around me. With these new people and another group having to share the room with us starting tonight for the next week I was told that I may have to go back to my old spot. Not really a big deal. But, she said I wouldn't have to move until tonight. Halfway thru the night, the new people finally joined us. They're all older people (I'd say 45 on up). Well, one came and sat in front of me. No prob. Next thing I know, she whips out this fan. It's already not the warmest in there, but I don't care, I'm warm blooded. She tries to plug it in, but is having a hard time because the plug is on the floor, and she's at least 50 and 1.5 times bigger than me, so bending isn't the easiest. It was getting downright painful to watch, so I got up and left the room for awhile.

I'll cut to the chase. No one with horrible B.O. should be allowed to have a fan blowing on them, period. It was discusting, really. Then she would raise her hand and wave it violently whenever she had a question for one of the leads instead of either getting up and getting her or just wispering her name. I swear she almost took out the guy who unfortunately sat next to her a couple times. Thank gord break time came fast. I got up and moved. And here before the smell and the fan thing I thought she would be my intertainment. When she sat down she like totally took 10 minutes to disinfect everything around her- the chair, keyboards, mouse, table, screen, even the box that sat on the floor.

Other than that and almost getting run down in the parking lot from a co-worker who just got his license back, everything has been OK. I pretty much only have the singles and about 20 CDs at home left to load onto my DJ, then I can commence "purge and reorg of the cpus". I have no real plans this long weekend. I may go for a drive up north one day. Or, I may sleep. I don't know. I don't care. I'm not going to plan anything, though. That way I can't be disapointed. If I get stuff done, I get it done. If not, no big whoop.
