It's -15 out right now. I must say, at this time of the year in MN, the best invention you could have if you don't have a garage is a remote start for your car. I got in and the seat was nice and toasty (another cool invention- heated seats). Throw it into drive and hold the brake for a minute or two to warm the engine some more and off ya go. It doesn't hurt having a heated parking space on days like this, either.
Someone left a bag of mint hershey's kisses on my chair. I have an idea of a few people, but I don't know exactly who it was. It made me smile.
Last night I went to Wal-Mart(icky). I returned something my gram got for christmas that she didn't want. She said I could keep whatever I got back for it. At first they were only going to give me $3.23 back, but when I started complaining about what good is a gift recipt if I'm not going to get that amount back they paid for it (it was some cheesy foot massager thing) a manager came over and redid the return. He gave me a gift card and I thought he said that I got $13.77 back, so I decided to get Garden State along with some other crap I needed, but when I went to pay, the card had $23.77. Whoot. I like it when things like that happen.
I am so happy today is friday.
I need more color in my life. I just realized just about everything I have put up here is blue. A blue Maple Leafs sign on my door, a blue and white "today I feel" sticker thingy from UT, blue magnets, blue christmas lights, I'm wearing blue jeans, my blue Maple Leafs jersey and hat, my jacket is blue, my backpack is blue, post-its? Blue. calandar? blue. kleenex box? blue. My desk lamp? Blue. File folders and desk organizer? blue. Even the TTC and CTA maps on my wall and the postcards of Europe my friend sent me are primarily blue. Runner up color is green. My Frolunda Indians banner (hockey team from my gram's hometown of Goteborg, Sweden) and my Wild Stanley Cup Playoffs flag are green, maroon, and white. I think I'm going to re-decorate here next week. Any suggestions?
