I have to tell someone.

I want everyone to know that I just did two days of work as an extra in a 1977 riot scene on the unbelievable set of The Watchmen. I am in geek heaven. I am simply elated. It was a dream come true. Those of you who collect comics or know about comics will know what I'm talking about

You don't know me, but someone linked me to your journal - and I just wanted to say that that's so freaking cool, that you even got to be an extra! I'm very excited to see how they portray the original graphic novel in this movie. :)

Well, being a huge fan of the graphic novel, I can say that they are bringing it to life perfectly. I have no idea how they're going to work the story or edit it together but as for the bare bones *look* of the thing, after standing underneath a perfect Owlship and seeing the Comedian look like he just stepped off of the page, I can safely say that they've nailed it.

Well my fingers are still crossed but I'm looking forward to it now instead of dreading it. It's going to awesome.
