Odds and Ends
*I confess I totally want an It's OK to be Takei t-shirt (black XL, in case any family members are getting birthdayish thoughts). Then I would be able to don my Takei apparel! I heart George Takei so hard.
*I visited my friends, Remi and Liz in North Carolina after the con last weekend, which was awesome, but also, they infected me with that Rebecca Black song, which will now be in my head for all eternity. I am reminded of this because I was just absentmindedly singing it (because, after all, today it is Friday, right?), and only realized when Ophelia jumped in my lap. I have never met a cat so enamored of singing. I guess she made her mind up about which seat she could take...
*WisCon is next week! So soon! Will I see you there? The 28th is my birthday. WisCon birthday funtimes, anyone?
*Exciting secret projects are in the works! I am excited! I will tell you more about them when I have more than a bare inkling to share. But, just so you know, exciting future things: can haz!
*I can't help wondering if it's more than coincidence that PodCastle chose this week to put up theferrett's story about giant squid grappling with truth and illusion around religion. It seems au courant, doesn't it?
