Drop everything you are doing, cancel all your plans, forget every other movie you want to see and do yourself a favor and go see Slumdog Millionaire. I am not exaggerating in the slightest when I say it was one of the most beautiful and inspiring movies I have ever seen. It brought me out of this horrible funk I've been in and I'm so happy I get to start 2009 feeling like this. This is the kind of movie that I will love forever, that I'll do my absolute best to share with everyone I know and care about.

Seriously, I am an incredibly cynical person but this movie made me believe in love and happy endings again.
