It is (was) my Birthday!!
Wednesday saw me reach the grand old age of 33.
To celebrate,
pecky took me to the West End to see the Lord of the Rings which was Superb (look at montage 2 via the link! Creepy characters!!!!). I wont rave too much here (as i have been all week since we saw it!) but it was amazing - the stage was just incredible, it moved, rotated, raised, lowered and generally changed shape as the play progressed. the special effects were equally amazing and several scenes were greeted with gasps from the audience. Special mention to the guy playing golem - outstanding!
Our seets were up in the upper circle, but given how much was going on, and the amount of people flying, and dropping down from above, the view was perfect. Now if only they could design theatre seats with knee room for tall buggers like me......
Had the rest of the week off work and spent the time with Anna and Katie - including taking Katie to her first 'baby gym'. Basically a room full of crashmats, trampolines and loads of toys! She seemed to enjoy it.
Birthday celebrations continue tonight - out drinking in the Castle before heading to the coven. My parents are babysitting and as we are staying over at their house tonight, no need to leave early as we did last month! I predict a hangover.....
A busy few weeks ahead....off to Ilkley next weekend to see annas family - and it seems to be a Wendyhouse weekend.......havent been for well over a year. Hopefully funds (and Katies grandparents babysitting) will allow!
Courtesy of my parents birthday present we also off to see Mesh at the electric ballroom on the 25th. Should be a good 'un.
...and of course next month brings with it
