Today I went to the gym for the first time this week and got in 40 minutes and 8.3 miles - not as much as I would have liked but for some reason my leg hurt so I let it go a little bit. I plan on starting the classes hopefully sometime this week, they look kind of fun! :-)

Weekly Theme:
Knowing you have support when you start your weight loss journey is important. Lets talk about where we find our support. Do you feel you get enough support from those around you? How did you go about finding the right type of support for you? How do you try to support others that are on the same journey as you are? Have there been times when someone tried to support you so much, that it felt like they were stepping over the line?

Sadly, I don't get anywhere near as much support as I should... my parents support me but them being in America doesn't really help when I'm 10,000 miles away. So I do my best with what I have... I've pretty much joined this community and up4thechallenge, I find both communities a bit of support. Makes me feel... I guess like I'm doing a good job, some online friends help too and of course my husband... but it's hard when we're both stressed from our child. I try to support people by giving them advice if they need it or just plain telling someone they did a good job is a good way of making people feel like you care. I mean, it really helps, even a few words make someone feel better - I know it does for me... anyways, being in these communities really makes a difference and reporting my miles it just makes me feel good that I was able to accomplish something that sometimes it doesn't feel like I can even get out of bed let alone anything else.

Oh, something that happened the other day (Friday) I was on the rowing machine and a personal trainer came up to me and told me that I was doing a great job, and that consistency is the key... that made me feel REALLY good! :-) It made me write down all the classes she runs so I can be in her classes - even though her classes look like fun I know I'll feel good about being in her class and not less than the people that are much more fit than me at the moment.
