Well.....I am still on cloud nine from this past friday. Yes, it was the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy concert. Oh my gosh! I had so much fun. I have always been a big fan of theirs, and now they have a stalker....jk LOL!! Seriously though. They were such great performers. They looked like they had so much fun dancing and singing out there on the stage. I locked eyes with quite a few of them that night too which was awesome. The bass player Dirk was a little on the creepy side though. He was staring at me the entire time. And he's married, and has two kids or something like that. But yeah I just kept staring at the lead singer Scotty. Oh man, that boy is too yummy! I wanted to seriously jump on him after the show. But I contained myself. It was so cute, me and Robin were all dressed up in our 40's attire. I was wearing a red dress with a black sash and the sash had a red flower on in, and I had done a barrel roll in my hair on one side, and I stuck and big red lily in my hair also. And to top it off I had the red lipstick to match. So afterwards we went to wait for the band to come out. It took them like 10 minutes to come out, but we passed the time away easily by making fun of the girl who sang in the band before them. She was drunk off her ass, and she was sitting on a table, and when she saw me she just pointed at me and was all "Heeeeeeeyyyyyyy..." and then waved. I was so confused. But I laughed and waved back to amuse her. So then BBVD came out. Ron, a trumpet player came out and I ran over there to have him sign my cd cover. He is so cute, he took the cover then looked at me, said hi all shy and stuff and then stared at me for what seemed like an hour, but it was really only like 5 seconds....lol... But he is one of the really cute ones, so of course I smiled back. Then there was the creepy bass player. Dirk saw me while he was signing other peoples autographs and he kept looking at me. And of course Robin was standing behind me so I knew she was laughing so I decided not to turn around to look at her or I would've started laughing too. So when he got to me he said "I remember you, you were in the front." Then he just stared at me some more, and said "I love your flower." I was trying not to laugh so I just said thank you, grabbed my paper and went on to the next guy. But of course, Robin teased afterwards. It was funny though. So I got Kurt the drummer to sign my paper, and Karl the sax player who's birthday was the day before, in fact we burst out into happy birthday for him. Which was really cool. I also got the other trumpet player "The Kid" to sign it, and then came Scotty's turn. Everyone was waiting around for Scotty and I just happened to be right by the door when he came out. So I pushed my way over to him. Robin told me to take off my garter and give it to him, but I wasn't too sure if I wanted to. She was all I'm gonna do it, you should too. But I wanted to see if he was gonna be a cool guy about it. Not like Doug from Hoobastank, who doesn't appreciate his fans :(. So when I got to him he was talking to some girl about something, so I waited politely until he was done. So he took the cd cover out of my hand and started turning to the picture of himself where he was gonna sign it. Well he looked up at me, looked back down, then looked up again really quick. He saw me and Robin and got this big ol smile on his face. Which of course made me smile. And then he said the words that I will never forget, "You girls are the most beautiful girls here." I saw all these people just turn and look at us at that point. It was great. It was such an awesome feeling. So at that moment I made up my mind to give him my garter. So I told him, "that's it, I'm gonna give you this." And I reached down and took the garter off my leg. He took it, and then he held it up, and said " I have such a tough job." Then he looked at me and said " I want to give you a hug." It was awesome. So then Robin went up to him next and just gave him her garter and he gave her a hug also and a kiss on the cheek. I just wish we could've gotten pictures with all of them, but we are not allowed to take cameras into the House of Blues. So then as we were leaving, the cute trumpet player Ron saw us and said bye to us. I was all OooOOOoooo......They were all so nice. They all thanked us for coming, and a lot of them gave us hugs. It was so unlike meeting Hoobastank. I mean Doug doesn't even put his arm around people when taking pictures. And BBVD were giving us hugs and kisses on the cheeks, it was awesome. So this Friday I am actually gonna go buy myself a fake ID so that way I can go to their next performance which is at the HOB on Sunset on October 3rd. Oooo baby! I can't wait. Just hopefully this time, there will be room to dance, cause I was hoping I would get to put to use the moves I have learned in my lindy hop classes. So yeah that was my big story. On a sadder note, my dad did lose his job, and we are all having to pitch in now. What's sad is that this whole thing was started because they don't like my uncle, and my uncle didn't even get fired. My dad got fired for stuff that my uncle did. So hopefully my parents will decide to sue. Since my moms best friends husband is a lawyer, he already called and talked to my dad, I just haven't asked them yet about what he had said. So hopefully things start getting better around here. Cause I think I am on the verge of going insane. I really am. I called in sick today cause I was just so upset, and laid in my bed the entire day. And to all my friends, I'm sorry if I haven't been calling as much, or chatting as much, but I've just got a lot to deal with right now. Love you all though, and thank you for the support.
