update as per last post.
tonight, i drank all the leftover wines and smoked hash and prepared a fancy salmon feast for myself. actually i'm still going on all that.
more importantly, i took advantage of the house being empty and the neighbors being gone to get plastered and force myself to (finally, after multiple years) recod 7 demos for the experimental album that's been thought about and tweaked way too long in my brairn but must now come to fruition.
copies of this dyspeptic and constipated work will now be sent to two close friends who make incredible electronic experimental music, to friendly and creative musicians, and to the two justins who make a great engineer/producing team.
i hope to have a professionally recorded ep or album set by the end of the summer.
experimental music making scares the shit out of me.
but it's much more rewarding than angus musyc.
and it's not cheating.
and it's real almost.
and it's not songwriting for kristyn or for leslie.
and i didn't go out dancing tonight.
