just got back from fucking italia
yup, I'm just back from week long trip to florence and rome with school. awesome time. made many friends with the hilarious frosh. cuddled frequently with roomates siena, amelia and carly (who goes to my school, not the other carly). watched mean girls up late one night with two of the aforementioned frosh kaila and sarah j, and then quoted it to an obnoxious extent for the rest of the vacation. almost ate prosciutto on several occasions but exercised self control (I'm really proud of myself for this one).
I saw the david, and the sistine chapel, and a bunch of sculptures by bernini and paintings by caravaggio and I went into vatican city, which felt like I was entering the fortress of the enemy. fucking creepy.
and now I'm so fucking jetlagged I can't stand it hahaha. I woke up at 5:30 this morning and have been trying to fall back asleep for the last three hours. I'll upload pictures soon, though I was sort of sparing with my camera this time around because when I get too obsessed with recording memories I disconnect from the actual experience. now I'm just really anxious to spend the rest of this week partying. hellll yeah.
