Suikoden V
Because Suikoden Tactics was going nowhere fast for me, I switched to Suikoden V for a bit. It's certainly a Suikoden game....
The game opens with an extended cutscene, followed by cutscene, with more cutscene for extra pleasure. The gist is that the main character "you" is the prince of a queendom. Your mother is nucking futs, and your little sister is an annoying brat. Dad's cool though.
After the fact-finding mission in flashback, it's time for something really disturbing. Look for lots of very icky fanfic to be coming out of this.
Eventually, disaster ensues, and you're off on your own to collect those 108 Stars of Destiny and save the day.
