In other news, I got trained to take more calls today. The Consumer Credit Counseling department has a slightly cheerier outlook than Bankruptcy, mainly because the guests are only very badly off, not completely broke. Many of our CCC guests will even be able to get their credit back!
One of their phone workers is leaving for school, so the management is training six or seven bankruptcy workers to take up the slack.
And this comes at a good time. Bankruptcy numbers slump in late December, early January, so we're running low on work. Things will upswing again in a month or so.
